Our proprietary portfolio of PV power plants produced 11 GWh of electricity. On a year-to-date basis, 82.6 GWh of electricity has been produced, compared to 62.3 GWh during the same reporting period last year, an increase of 32.2%. The clean electricity generated by our plants in the first six months of 2021 represents an avoidance of 33,544 tonnes of CO2 emissions. We are currently developing PV projects with total capacity of 596.2 MWp.
In September we reported an update on the Hybrid Renewable Energy Project on Lord Howe Island, Australia. The renewable energy system designed and built for the Lord Howe Island Board has been reliably supplying clean electricity for over six months and significantly reduced the island’s reliance on diesel-generated power.
As part of a RenCraft-led consortium, we delivered a 0.95 MWp PV plant to power a wastewater treatment facility in Koszalin, Poland.
After the reporting period, we received approval from the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) of a prospectus prepared in connection with the public offering of our first green bond. The 6-year bond has a denomination of EUR 1,000 and offers an attractive 6.50% annual coupon with quarterly payments. A public offering of the bond will take place in Germany, Austria and Luxembourg. The offering will begin on 2 November and finish on 17 November 2021.
