Photon Energy adds further 28.5 MWp to O&M portfolio

Photon Energy continues to expand itsoperations and maintenance portfolio in Central Europe by takingover the O&M as well as monitoring for 17 power plants in theCzech Republic with a total combined capacity of 28.5 MWp. PhotonEnergy now provides O&M and monitoring services for more than180 MWp in 9 countries. The company’s in-depth knowledge of centralinverters and access to spare parts played a key part in closingthe deal.

Photon Energy Operations, a subsidiary ofglobal solar power solutions provider Photon Energy NV, has takenover the operations, maintenance and monitoring of 17 PV powerplants in the Czech Republic with a total capacity of 28.5 MWp. Thepower plants are owned by one of the leading Czech independentpower producers Energy 21.

With our experienced localtechnical, administrative and legal staff, we take care of assetsin Central Europe for international investors as well as our ownportfolio of power plants”, says CEO Georg Hotar.

One of Photon Energy’s main advantages forEnergy 21 is the company’s expertise when dealing with central PVinverters, in this particular case Satcon® inverters. Apart fromin-depth technical knowledge and experience with this technology,Photon Energy recently entered into a cooperation agreement withGreatWall, the successor of central inverter producer Satcon®. Theagreement includes new product and spare parts distribution as wellas service partnership for Satcon® and Great Wall technology inEurope and Australia.
