Our independent power producer (IPP) portfolio of PV power plants produced 5 GWh of electricity.
On a year-to-date basis, 121.6 GWh of electricity has been produced, compared to 103.3 GWh during the same reporting period last year, an increase of 17.8%.
The clean electricity generated by our plants since the beginning of 2022 represents an avoidance of 49,013 t of CO2 emissions.
In December our shares started trading on the electronic trading platform XETRA, with BankM AG as the designated sponsor. XETRA is Germany’s leading trading platform for listed companies provided by Deutsche Börse AG.
We have completed the takeover of Lerta by increasing our equity stake to 100%. This acquisition expands our team by 100 members, with new offices in Lodz and Gdansk, Poland. Lerta brings with it energy trading licenses in six countries, a scalable VPP (Virtual Power Plant) platform, and positions the Group as the number 3 player in the Polish DSR market.
Lerta has also secured 157 MW of Demand Side Response (DSR) in the Polish capacity auction for 2027. This is a significant step towards Lerta’s goal of becoming the leading DSR provider in Poland, with a target of 600 MW by 2027 and 900 MW by 2030.
Photon Energy Group’s board adopted a share buyback program on 16 December to meet obligations from its Employee Share Purchase Program. The plan is to buy back a maximum of 250,000 shares (0.42% of issued share capital) with a budget of PLN 3.75 million. The program started on 19 December and will last 6 months.
